The finest views for minimum effort. Stac Pollaidh isn’t a long slog to reach the summit. It’s steep and quick with ridiculous views in every direction when you reach the crumbling ridge. The true summit requires a daring bad step which is not to be attempted unless you’re very sure of your ability. Exploring the rock labyrinth on the summit ridge adds excitement to the climb where you can quickly find yourself a little lost and isolated. Climb in early Autumn for awesome golden grass and gorgeous light.
