The Quiraing was formed from a massive land slip. It’s part of the Trotternish ridge which lies in the far north of the Isle of Skye. As a climber, the Quiraing looks like a giant adult playground. I’ve explored it a few times on trips to Skye and each time was different. The views are incredible in every direction. The classic view depicted in my work is from a high point, taking in the most recognisable peaks and rock formations, looking south. The Quiraing is on the move, as it slowly slides towards the sea, at a glacial pace.
